long term women's group
My weekly women’s’ group has been running for the past fifteen years. This group is for women who, despite being bright and accomplished, have some degree of dissatisfaction in their personal lives. Members work on relationship issues, tolerating and resolving conflict, and developing a stronger sense of self. This group is typically full with only occasionally vacancies. This group has been meeting for close to a decade, and it provides an opportunity for personal growth and exploration of group dynamics for high functioning people who are therapists for others. Therapists examine their own life issues as well as their impact on others in the here and now process of the interactions in the group. Some key agreements are necessary to provide a safe and confidential culture where people can speak freely about personal issues.
