Girls Circle
Including Mother-Daughter Circles, where daughters and care-givers join together to strengthen their bonds through shared listening, creative expression, and skill building. Other Circle topics are Body Image, Relationships with Peers and Expressing Myself. Girls Circles aim to increase positive connection, personal and collective strengths, and competence in girls. They aim to counteract social and interpersonal forces that impede girls' growth and development by promoting an emotionally safe setting and structure within which girls can develop caring relationships and use authentic voices. The Council for Boys and Young Men
Boys will have fun identifying social-emotional messages, experiences, attitudes, and smart options for growing up male in our culture. Competition, bullying, recognizing and expressing emotions, male and female role expectations, self confidence, and teamwork are highlighted through games and team challenges.
