EXA for Personal Exploration and Development

This is a facilitated Intermodal Expressive Arts group for personal development. It is not group therapy. The purpose of the group is to deepen personal understanding of the participant's current situation while expanding their "range of play" that can be later applied to their real world experiences. Working in large and small group activities deepens the pool of creative choices and possible outcomes. This group is run periodically, and/or when there is interest. Skills Development
The purpose of this group is to enhance mindfulness, communication, emotion regulation, and distress tolerance skills for better coping and stability. Although the focus is psychoeducation, Intermodal Expressive Arts is the modality used to illustrate, understand, and practice the benefits of the skills presented. Participants applying to register for this group will complete a 15 minute intake to determine suitability for same. This group runs periodically. Duration is 6-8 weeks depending on topics covered, 2 hour weekly sessions, 6-9 participants. Call for information regarding fees and scheduling.
