Calm Minds during COVID-19: Mindfulness group
Persistent worrying and panic due to COVID can activate our survival system to get hyper-vigilant and super-alert and remain like that even when it might not be needed. This can compromise our thinking brain and wisdom, putting us at risk of PTSD post-COVID. Our family and society need us to be calm. Please join me creating a calm environment inside and around. Manage Stress Mindfully
The program focuses on the needs of the participants to: •Learn to develop the habit of meditation •Key signs and symptoms that your system is in stress i.e. what “YOUR” fight/ flight/ freeze look like •Common mistakes that feed your stress rather than managing it •How your neurobiology is watching out for you •Explore strategies to identify your triggers and regulate your responses to regain your balance •Create a customized plan to address stress. The program runs for four weeks, from Nov. 13th to Dec. 4th, 2022.
