8 Week Trauma Sensitive Yoga Group In person

Start date May 11 at 11:45am Trauma Centre Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY) is an evidence based clinical intervention for people who have experienced complex trauma. It has been used as an adjunctive with talk therapy and is based in Hatha Yoga with foundations of Trauma Therapy and Neuroscience. Offered in person, this program will run for 8 weeks. Each week will feature TCTSY core principle with some psychoeducation around trauma. There are no hands on assist and modifications are offered to go at your own pace, while emphasizing choice making during the practice.

Join us at Bloom for an intimate 6 week virtual trauma sensitive yoga group, focused on pairing meaningful movement, somatic skills, and breathwork techniques. The Trauma Sensitive Yoga Group is open to all folks curious about integrating trauma informed principles into a movement practice Designed for folks at all levels of yoga experience, we will support you to make all necessary modifications and adjustments needed. This group will have a check in and psychoeducation component during the first half hour, followed by an hour Trauma Sensitive Yoga practice.
