A speaker and a designer of award-winning youth programs, he has also appeared on over 200 podcasts and radio shows and and he has been a featured guest on The Today Show. He leads one of the largest group therapy practices in the United States, in addition to monthly workshops in clinics, medical centers, youth organizations, and schools.

Grover's parenting book, When Kids Call the Shots: How to Seize Control From Your Darling Bully—and Enjoy Parenting Again, was named Best New Nonfiction by Publishers Weekly and included on the New York Times recommended reading list for parents. It has been translated into Chinese, Korean, Russian, and Estonian. His new book is Shortcuts to a Happier Life: Essays on Life, Love and Parenting.
