Dr. Debbie Joffe Ellis is a licensed Australian psychologist, licensed New York MHC, and adjunct professor at Columbia University TC. She presents and teaches in her home city of New York, throughout the USA and across the globe.

She has written articles and reviews for various professional journals, chapters for books and encyclopedias, been featured in professional training DVD’s, and co-wrote 2 books with her late, great and astonishing husband – Albert Ellis PhD. He was the genius who, in addition to his other major contributions to individuals and societies, changed the direction of psychotherapy and heralded the cognitive revolution in our field. In his final decade of life they worked together in every aspect of their work which included presenting lectures and workshops for professionals and also for members of the general public, running group therapy sessions, providing individual therapy, training professionals in the helping and teaching professions, writing and researching.
