Avrum Weiss, Ph.D.
Avrum Weiss, Ph.D., is a psychotherapist, author and teacher with forty years of clinical experience dedicated to helping people learn how to change their lives. In addition to the practice of psychotherapy, he serves as the consultant psychologist for Jewish Family and Career Services in Atlanta. He has presented talks at over 100 professional meetings, and he’s the author of the books Change Happens: When to Try Harder and When to Stop Trying So Hard and Experiential Psychotherapy: A Symphony of Selves. His current research focuses on understanding and treating men’s fears of women in intimate relationships. He is an adjunct professor at George State University.
