Hans Rocha IJzerman, Ph.D., is an associate professor of social psychology at the Université Grenoble Alpes and an expert on social thermoregulation in humans. He is the author of Heartwarming: How Our Inner Thermostat Made Us Human. His writing has also appeared in the New York Times and the Huffington Post. He received his Ph.D. in social psychology at Utrecht University in 2010, under the supervision of Gün Semin and Dov Cohen. IJzerman is also the founding editor of In-Mind Magazine, which is focused on disseminating social psychological knowledge to a broader audience.
