Frank Martela, Ph.D., is a philosopher and researcher at Aalto University in Helsinki and the author of A Wonderful Life - Insights on Finding a Meaningful Existence (Harper Design 2020), an accessible introduction to the meaningfulness of life and how each of us can make our lives more meaningful, which will be translated into twenty-three different languages including French, German, Spanish, Korean, and Japanese versions.

His research has been published in academic journals such as Journal of Personality, Journal of Positive Psychology, Journal of Happiness Studies; and General Review of Psychology, his articles have appeared in Scientific American Mind, Harvard Business Report, and Salon; his work has been featured on Quartz and the BBC, and he has been interviewed by New York Times, Vice News, and The Monocle Observer among others. He has given invited lectures on universities in four continents, including institutions like Stanford University and Harvard University.
