About

Amy Marschall, Psy.D., is a licensed psychologist in South Dakota, North Dakota, Montana, Wisconsin, New York, South Carolina, and Florida, and she is a PsyPact provider. She is also a registered Clinical Psychologist in New Zealand. She is an author, speaker, educator, and expert on neurodiversity-affirming care, ADHD, autism, and trauma. She has been in practice as a licensed psychologist since 2016, and she has been in private practice since 2022. Dr. Marschall is the owner of Resiliency Mental Health and the clinical director of A Change for Better.

Dr. Marschall is the author of several books for mental health providers, including Neurodiversity-Affirming Therapy: What Every Mental Health Provider Needs to Know, and children's books, including Slipper the Penguin: A Story About Embracing Neurodivergence. She creates continuing education courses for psychologists and other mental health professionals who want to incorporate neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed care into their practices. She lives in South Dakota and has two cats, Armani and Vera.

Dr. Marschall is AuDHD and was diagnosed as an adult. She had been providing diagnostic assessments to the ADHD and autistic communities for years before realizing the traits she helped her clients identify also applied to her. She is passionate about improving diagnostic procedures and promoting education around neurodivergence because it continues to floor her that none of the many psychologists who taught her how to assess for neurodivergence realized that she is also neurodivergent.
