I think it's important to explore all aspects of one's health. Often symptoms can make one appear to have a significant mental illness when the person may have general medical conditions that can cause similar symptoms.

For instance, insomnia is often associated with anxiety or depression, when it could be caused by a neurological illness, vitamin deficiency, or other physical issues.
