Narcissistic mother
I overcame somewhat, from being raised by a narcissistic mother.
I had some really good therapy and with some insight I was able to raise my kids without repeating what was done to me.
They are now secure, happy adults. They are what I wanted to be.
I still have lingering anxiety, fears and insecurities from the past.
So, it doesn't always help to know the source. It feels like it's hardwired in my brain.
I'm grateful there is more attention on the problems caused by narcissistic parents.
