I do better and recover faster when I accept and sometimes embrace the "negative" emotion I'm experiencing.
I find if I try to force myself to to get rid of the sad or foul mood I'm in, it makes it even worse. I feel guilty, though, because I wasn't "mindful" enough or didn't meditate my sour mood away.
With this pandemic there are too many articles on how to get through this crisis, when it would be refreshing to read that this is a shitty situation we're in!
Well, at least this article gets close to it.
