I always find cat studies amusing.
Anyone who has spent an extensive amount of time with cats knows they are emotional and attached and for that matter pretty much social animals as well. These things seem to surprise researchers.
I wonder why? The only conclusion I can come to is that they've never actually had a cat as a pet.
