Are attitudes towards stress really self-fulfilling; that is, does believe stress is positive actually lead to it having positive effects on body and mind? Or are those who think so simply deluded, or rationalizing, or trying to make the best of a bad situation?
There are presumably measures and studies of the effects of stress on mind and body. It would be interesting to have such studies comparing these effects on those with negative vs. positive views on stress.
