In my opinion, the public has a right to know with whom the President of the United States is consulting with respect to the President's decision-making process. This is an important aspect of open, transparent government and democracy. Therefore, if the President is receiving psychotherapy, the public should be informed of the mental health diagnosis, the name of the treatment provider, and the method of treatment. This information should not be kept secret, any more than the President's medical condition.
