Who is the best choice for president to get our economy rolling again?
Posted Feb 20, 2014
How to fix the economy is one of the most hotly debated topics of the last decade. Committees and Super Committees are being formed to help tackle this problem. Economic experts are being consulted and everyone has a complicated idea or plan on the best way to get this done.
I always like to look for simple solutions and to think a little outside the box. What is in the middle of money and economy? Why, the letter N of course. Can fixing the economy be as simple as having something to do with the letter N?
Let us look at our currency. Well, the picture of the person on every denomination of United States paper currency has at least one N in their last name. One dollar bill, WashiNgtoN, five dollar bill, LiNcolN, ten dollar bill HamiltoN, twenty dollar bill, JacksoN, fifty dollar bill GraNt, and hundred dollar bill, FraNkliN. Coincidence? I don’t think so.
Well, what about recent history? When has the country been in the best economic shape? Well, if we look back at our last seven Presidents, the two Presidents who were in office during our best economic times were undoubtedly ReagaN and CliNtoN. The country was thriving during their terms. What did they have in common? It wasn’t their politics. One Republican and one Democrat, but both with N last names. The five Presidents who were in office during the most challenging economic times were, Ford, Carter, Bush, Bush, and Obama. Not an N to be found in any of those names.
The election of 2016 is still over two years away but people are talking about viable candidates. The recent traffic debacle in New Jersey with Chris Christie has hurt his chances, but that is no big deal because he does not have an N is his name. We need to elect an N President if we want to improve this economy. He or she does not have to even be a politician. Clinton and Reagan were not politicians, they were eNtertainers. Reagan was an actor and Clinton was a saxophone player. Let’s get back to what we know works, let’s get an N entertainer in the White House. We can have Kim KardashiaN, or Lindsay LohaN. No, probably a little too young and inexperienced. How about Dustin HoffmaN, Robert DeNiro, or Al PaciNo? Probably a little too old to connect with the younger generation. How about someone right in the middle of those groups? Got it!!! Our next President who will get the country moving in the right direction, ladies and gentlemen, Charlie SheeN. Because isn’t fixing the economy all about wiNNiNg?
