Linda Moulton Howe is a national treasure.
With a masters degree from Stanford and bonafides including an Emmy nomination for her work as an investigative reporter early in her career in Denver, she has rock solid investigative journalism skills that she put to use exploring what used to be a fringe area in the news – the high strangeness of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) – formerly known as UFOs. Her personal sacrifice cannot be forgotten as it kept her and her excellent work out of mainstream awareness and major publishing for far too long.
And she is a synesthete. "When I was in grade school, I related to words such as come and came as major and minor keys on the piano," she told me recently. "I started playing the piano when I was 4, evolved quickly to performing publicly, and had to practice many hours every day before and after school. So unlike a lot of kids, my environment was the black and white keys of the piano. Whatever the link process was to words, my mental categorization of some words as major and some minor helped me keep tenses straight."
Her bravery and science journalism acumen in following the truth wherever it led – even when it was unpopular and even when it would stigmatize you and even when it could get you killed – cannot be underestimated. Her work deserves a Pulitzer and more. You can see her very robust archive at www.earthfiles.com.
But now we know UAPs are real – if you didn’t get the memo those were top Department of Defense and Central Intelligence Agency figures alongside past and possibly future Blink 182 rock band frontman Tom DeLonge admitting it in a press conference recently – including showing footage of a UAP off the bow of the United States Navy's Nimitz in San Diego which was not ours and which they admitted they could not explain: https://dpo.tothestarsacademy.com/
And just today To the Stars released the first official declassified video of Navy fighter pilots observing a UAP. Scroll down on the above link for that amazing footage. It also appears on page one of the New York Times, above the fold, where it should be.
Further, that was Bigelow Aerospace CEO Robert Bigelow, billionaire NASA contractor and tea company scion on “60 Minutes” this year telling the reporter who asked if he worried people would think his belief in aliens is crazy: “I don’t give a damn. I don’t care. It’s not going to make a difference. It’s not going to change reality of what I know.”
The fictional heroine FBI agent Dana Scully of X-Files fame has nothing on Linda, who scooped my friends at the Times by 38 years. I urge following her work as more disclosure is imminent in 2018. Some of it can be heard on the amazing overnight program Coast to Coast AM with George Noory, another brilliant and honest journalist in search of truth: https://www.coasttocoastam.com/guest/howe-linda-moulton/5699
Thank you to painter and researcher and songwriter, Renaissance man Doug Auld for providing the portrait of Linda from his incredible "Whistleblower" series.
