couple is sad because their relationship isn't as good in person as online

Woman says to date, Maybe we should just go back to e-mailing

There's something about the impersonal internet that becomes VERY personal where relationships are concerned! It's probably as hot as it gets. I think that's because your imagination can work overtime, and fill in any pesky gaps, if needed.

Unfortunately, online love doesn't always work out, and I can empathize with the melancholia these folks are feeling. It's so very hard to give up on love. Can't we go back to how it used to be?

I guess I'm feeling a little disappointed myself, and that's why I chose this cartoon today. I hope next week's cartoon will be more cheerful, but there's no guarantee.

Please share any of your own good and/or disappointing online love stories in the comments. Should we keep on trying?

Here's another PT cartoon about online relationships you might enjoy.
