Some are and some are not.
This article suggests powerful women - describe as feminists - may take issue regarding keeping their feminity.
While many women have softened their feminine look to better blend into a male culture of men, power and feminism don't necessarily go hand in hand.
It Depends on the nature of a women.....!
great question. I believe Powerful women are wise. A truly powerful woman has no desire to emulate man because she does not see man as having any power that she doesn't already have. A powerful woman is alive in her own soul and she is not bound by the traditional mindset that looks to man for answers when she knows she has the answers within. For example - War and Violence is a powerful man made problem.
A powerful woman has the power of intuition, global care, and love and she makes decisions based on helping the whole. She sees in unity. She dresses how she wants. She speaks her mind & heart. She is fully woman. I don't like the word Feminist because it sounds like it excludes the masculine but i will say that a truly powerful woman will desire to guide misguided masculine power back into true power.
Violence is a huge masculine power issue gone bad, for example the World leaders (who are male) are using violence as power to grow their control over others and keep people or nations 'stable.' A woman sees another way to rule to does not follow man down paths of destruction simply because it is a man world with man rule. If man rules with violence repeatedly throughout the ages - she sees that what is missing in Man is his access and respect for the Feminine energy within him. A powerful woman looks to herself for answers rather than always to a man to think for her or make big decisions for her. She can speak logically and strategically while also feeling her humanity and the emotional implications of her actions and words.
I believe A balance of power between masculine and feminine is the True desire of a powerful woman. I don't think it is good for women to dress like men and start speaking like a commanding officer barking orders will diminish her power. The power and wisdom of woman is what this world needs to break out of the traditions of man rule.
If we look around at the planet, with wars, single moms, global faminine we can see that masculine power without feminine wisdom, love and care for life will cause much pain and suffering. I am not a feminist. I am not a masculinist. I am a humanist with a desire to bring humanity back to the Power of Love.

From what I've seen the "powerful" ones seem to internalize the ideas and concepts of feminism-meaning, it's kind of just something they do rather than a political thing. Hard to describe really.
