Zazie Todd Ph.D.

Zazie Todd, Ph.D., has a Ph.D. in Psychology (University of Nottingham) and an MFA Creative Writing (UBC). Her website Companion Animal Psychology is nominated three times in the 2016 Dog Writer's Association Awards.

Zazie graduated with honours from Jean Donaldson’s Academy for Dog Trainers (“the Harvard of dog training”). She is a supporting member of the International Association of Animal Behaviour Consultants (Shelter division) and a volunteer at the BC SPCA. She is also Fear Free certified, meaning she understands how to work with owners and their pets to make vet visits less stressful (“take the 'pet' out of 'petrified'”).

Zazie grew up in Leeds, in the north of England, and now lives in Maple Ridge, BC, Canada, with her common law husband, one dog, and two cats.
