As an experienced counsellor and death doula I support people to navigate complex and challenging life transitions. People come to therapy for all sorts of reasons, mostly because something in their lives is shifting. You’re in-between and you’re not sure how to move forward. You’re aware that there are patterns that keep you feeling anxious, frustrated and stuck. It can help to tell your story to a compassionate witness, to hear a different perspective or try a new strategy. I sit with you in the space between chapters and help you craft a way forward with more insight, clarity and hope.
My practice is integrative, holistic and draws from a variety of modalities including existential psychotherapy, attachment styles, family systems, somatic and eco therapy.
In my work as a death doula, I facilitate open conversations about death, assist with the development of end of life plans and the building of communities of care.
Counselling is a collaborative relationship. A safe place where the beautiful complexity of you is seen, heard and honoured. Life can get challenging and messy and sometimes we are too. I will meet you where you are with respect and compassion and we will go wherever you need to go together.
