I am passionate in supporting individual clients with daily life stress, grief, depression and anxiety alongwith families and children who need support around difficult behaviours, and social emotional learning. Young children who present with anxiety, trauma and behavioural issues may benefit from in-school or individual support, or together within the family context. I have experience supporting disability clients assisting them with their NDIS plan. My experience in supporting family carers, will assist them with personal identity issues, how to navigate their caring role, and guide them to resources for self-care.
With a Master of Counselling and Psychotherapy, I offer extensive theoretical knowledge and experience. Beginning with Person-centred therapy, I have an eclectic approach and will tailor sessions to suit each client. My experience also extends to primary and high school settings, supporting young children and students from years 7-12.
My calm demeanor, care and empathy, together with years of practical experience and extensive theoretical knowledge, will assist my focus on each client's story, taking time to understand their desire and goals for counselling. Focusing on individual children's stories and context will shape the therapeutic activities, ensuring fun and creativity.
