Whitney works with clients of all ages as they go through various life stages and transitions, to develop secure attachment, healthy connections, and meaningful lives. She helps clients learn emotional and behavioural regulation, build up self-esteem and a sense of identity, and improve social and communication skills.
Whitney is particularly interested in helping clients managing complex or overlapping concerns, such as neurodiversity, complex trauma, mood and personality disorders.
Sessions offer a supportive space for clients to express emotions and explore experiences, collaborating with Whitney to form therapy goals. Whitney uses integrated tools based on the client's needs and strengths, including tools from CBT, DBT, and other approaches, applying them through a neuro-affirming and trauma-informed lens.
Managing mental health can feel like an endless, lonely battle at times, and not every therapist is the right fit or approach - and that's okay. Whitney believes seeking help is the first step to building your support system up, and finding positive changes that work for you.
