I can offer an initial appointment within a week, and I can provide in-person or telehealth appointments.
Starting therapy or linking in with a new therapist can feel like a big step, and I hope that I may be able to make it an enjoyable and very worthwhile step. I work with adults and adolescents for a range of emotional difficulties, such as anxiety, difficulty regulating emotions, BPD/EUPD, self-harming and suicidal ideation, low self-worth, and late-identified neurodivergence. I aim to work collaboratively with my clients to find the right way to improve the quality of their daily life in a sustainable way, to minimise discomfort. This is a welcoming space, free of judgement.

I specialise in ADHD Assessment and therapeutic intervention. My work focuses on diagnostic assessment and treatment for neurodevelopmental conditions such as ADHD and Autism in school-aged children, teens, and adults. My assessments are not only informed by interviews but also by testing that makes comparisons with people of similar age and gender to help inform whether the behaviours represent "full" ADHD, autism, only traits of the condition, or are masking other areas of concern. On a personal note, I am a sport's tragic, with a passion for Australian cricket and for the St. George-Illawarra Dragons NRL team.

Many people reach midlife sensing that something has subtly shifted. You may still be functioning well in work and relationships, yet stress lingers longer, sleep is lighter, patience shorter, and recovery no longer happens as easily as it once did. As a registered counsellor, I help people understand how stress and nervous system strain affect mood, energy, and clarity. Rather than simply managing symptoms, our work focuses on restoring regulation and rebuilding capacity. If this sounds familiar, you’re welcome to reach out for an exploratory conversation.

I listen with empathy in a private and safe space in person or online.
When life feels stuck, many try to push through alone — until emotions like fear, anger, guilt, unworthiness or confusion become too heavy. I offer a safe, private space to talk, ask important questions, and explore options at your own pace. While I’m passionate about helping couples and families, I often begin by supporting individuals on their journey toward clarity through contemplation, dialogue, explore options before strengthening to a healthier self/relationship. Growth begins with one step — and I’m here to walk alongside you.

FAQ - About In Person Therapy
What are the benefits of in-person therapy?
In-person therapy offers several benefits that some people find highly valuable for their mental health treatment. Being present in the same room as your therapist can create a stronger sense of connection and allow for more nuanced communication through body language. Some people may also find it easier to focus in therapy when they are in a dedicated space and away from potential distractions related to home or work; attending an in-person session provides a clear boundary between therapy time and the rest of your life. For certain therapeutic approaches, such as Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), exposure therapy, or somatic therapy, being in person may be particularly important, as these therapies benefit from the therapist being able to observe and respond to a client’s physical cues effectively. Additionally, some individuals simply feel more comfortable discussing sensitive or painful topics when they are face-to-face with their therapist rather than on a screen.

When should I choose in-person therapy over online therapy?
In-person therapy may be a better choice when you need a structured therapeutic environment separate from your daily life, when you find it difficult to focus or feel comfortable in an online setting, or when privacy at home is a concern. It may also be more appropriate if you are dealing with severe mental health symptoms that require close monitoring or if your therapy involves approaches that rely heavily on observing physical cues. On the other hand, if convenience, scheduling flexibility, or access to specialists outside your immediate area are priorities, online therapy may be a better fit. Many therapists offer both options, so you can also discuss with a provider which format might work best for your specific situation.

How do I find an in-person therapist?
You can use Psychology Today's therapist directory to find an in-person therapist in your area. You can search by location, insurance accepted, specialty areas, therapeutic approaches, and other criteria to narrow down providers who meet your needs. Each therapist profile includes information about their credentials, areas of expertise, and whether they offer in-person sessions. Once you have identified potential therapists, you can contact them directly through the directory to schedule an initial consultation and determine whether they are a good fit before committing to ongoing treatment. When reaching out, it can be helpful to confirm their availability for in-person appointments, their office location, and whether they accept your insurance.
