I provide a safe, open, and mobile space for children, adolescents, and families to navigate life’s most complex challenges. My practice is deeply person-centered, focusing on the "person-in-environment"—because I believe that for change to be sustainable, it has to work in the real world, not just a clinic room. How I Work Differently: I Come to You: I remove the barriers to care by offering sessions in your home or school across Perth (Applecross to Mandurah). Meeting families where they are most comfortable reduces anxiety and builds trust faster.

I work with adults and adolescents seeking a calmer, more balanced way of experiencing their thoughts, emotions, and overall well-being. Many people I see experience anxiety, low mood, stress, or trauma-related difficulties, as well as mind-body concerns such as gut-brain symptoms (including IBS), disrupted sleep, and chronic pain, including persistent headaches and migraines, where medical causes have been appropriately assessed.

You might be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected from yourself, or trying to make sense of things that have happened along the way. I work with children (9+), teenagers, young adults, and neurodivergent parents who want a space where they can show up as they are, without having to fit into a particular idea of what therapy should look like. Together, we can explore what’s going on and find ways forward that feel right for you. That might mean talking, creating, moving, making sense of your story, or simply having space to be human.

I am a clinical psychologist that provides psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults. People I work with often express difficulties with feeling "stuck" in their life; they are grappling with a conflict that they have problems resolving. Many people also present with profound issues with relating to themselves and with other people, contributing to a sense of isolation. These issues may prevent a person from engaging in what is meaningful to them.

I'm Dom Caesar (they/them), an autistic and queer social worker. I work with people aged 16 and up, and especially welcome those who identify as neurodivergent, queer, or trans, or who have felt misunderstood or unsupported in more traditional therapy settings. Some themes and issues I love exploring with people include burnout, emotional exhaustion, and the toll of masking; identity (including neurodivergence, gender, sexuality, etc) and how these intersect; learning to communicate your needs and to advocate; navigating systems (workplaces, schools, families and everything in between!); and whatever feels most meaningful to you.

Psychosis Therapists
What’s the most effective treatment for psychosis?
The most effective treatment for psychosis is coordinated specialty care. In this model, a team of professionals works with a patient to address all aspects of the underlying disorder. This approach incorporates individual or group therapy, employment and education support, family support and education, medication management (which often involves low doses of antipsychotics), and case management to facilitate problem-solving as needed.

When should people seek treatment for psychosis?
People should seek immediate treatment at the earliest indication of psychosis. Symptoms include delusions, hallucinations, disorganized or blocked speech, and agitated body movements. Early signs that a person may be developing a disorder that will lead to psychosis include suspiciousness of others, memory problems and distractibility, an inability to think clearly, rapid or nonsensical speech, withdrawal from friends or family, aggression toward others, and sensitivity to bright lights or noises.

What if psychosis is left untreated?
Without treatment, psychosis can have significant repercussions, including injuries, job loss, homelessness, financial or legal trouble, ruptured relationships, and suffering for the person and their family. While early treatment for psychosis often yields the best results, there is no point past which it becomes useless to seek treatment. At any point, treatment can make a difference.

How do I get someone else to seek treatment for psychosis?
It’s extremely difficult to watch a loved one suffer from hallucinations, delusions, and other elements of psychosis—sometimes exacerbated by their fears of treatment. Have a conversation with them in a quiet space and maintain a calm, supportive tone. Share your concerns about behaviors you’ve observed, suggest treatment, and explain the potential benefits. Listen carefully to their responses. The person may not be ready after one conversation, but with time, they may come around.
