As a Clinical Psychologist, I work with adolescents and adults presenting with challenges including anxiety, depression, psychotic symptoms, emotional dysregulation, trauma and ADHD symptoms.
My therapeutic approach is tailored to the individual and is influenced by Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). Above all, I firmly believe that the therapeutic relationship is the most important aspect of therapy.

Personable and friendly Psychologist, guided by your goals and pace – and if you want, with a push towards the change you want are ready to manage. I seek to develop a trusted therapeutic relationship as a foundation to working together to identify contributing factors to areas of current distress and discover a workable pathway forward. I enjoy supporting people of all ages experiencing a variety of challenges (such as anxiety, depression, trauma, loneliness, and just ‘feeling different’) and developing recognition of strengths and needs which can be challenging to remember are still there when going through a difficult time.

Those diagnosed on the spectrum of Autism, ADHD and AuDHD, especially as an adult, can struggle to find the right support that understands individual needs for access, processing, recovery and integration.
The therapeutic journey should give considerable room for personal expression. Whether that be through art, music, writing, diverse spiritual practices or finding resonance in multi-media, gaming or sub/culture affiliation. These can be incorporated in ways that provide validation, a sense of safety and a familiar language for expressing difficult emotions.

I help adults experiencing bereavement, ongoing stress, or ADHD-related challenges.
Grief, life transitions, or chronic disorganisation can feel heavy and isolating. You might be mourning a death, facing sudden loss, pet loss, separation, illness, ageing, or anticipatory and complicated grief. Perhaps you're stuck in clutter, hoarding, or overwhelmed by chaos at home. Emotions like guilt, anger, numbness, longing, shame, or confusion can be exhausting. Though no one can carry this for you, you don’t have to carry it without someone beside you as you seek relief, understanding, direction, and space for what matters. At Changes in Between, you can honour your loss, rebuild your life, and find your place.

ADHD Therapists

When should I seek treatment for ADHD?

You should seek treatment for ADHD if you consistently have difficulty with attention, hyperactivity, or impulsivity that interferes with your daily life. Symptoms of ADHD include the inability to sustain attention during tasks, difficulty organizing tasks and activities, being easily distracted, frequent fidgeting or squirming, and talking or interrupting excessively. If these symptoms interfere with your career, academics, or relationships—for example, consistently failing to complete professional projects on time—you should seek an evaluation for ADHD.

How does treatment for ADHD work?

Effective treatment for ADHD often consists of medication, behavioural therapy, and lifestyle changes. Stimulant medications such as Adderall and Ritalin work by altering levels of neurotransmitters in the brain; higher levels of dopamine and norepinephrine are known to improve attention and focus. Therapy works by helping people with ADHD understand the condition, discuss their areas of difficulty, and develop behavioral strategies to manage their symptoms. In some cases, modifying one’s diet and exercise can also help improve symptoms.

How long does treatment for ADHD take?

It’s tough to give an exact time frame because everyone varies. In terms of medications, stimulants begin to work very soon after you take them, generally within the hour. It may take time to identify the right medication and dosage, but the medication itself is fast-acting. In terms of therapy, it takes time to develop skills and put them into practice, but you will likely see improvements within a few weeks or months.
