Starting therapy can be really daunting for so many reasons. One reason in particular I see a lot is that individuals worry that the issues they are experiencing are not “big enough” or “therapy worthy”. I wanted to provide some specific examples of common issues I work with to hopefully ease this worry and assure you that your experiences are absolutely worthy of support: Having conflicting or negative feelings about being pregnant/post-partum, difficulty falling/staying asleep, distressing and/or recurrent memories of traumatic events, intimacy difficulties, and feeling like you constantly put others needs before your own.

Do you struggle with high stress, a strong inner critic or strained relationships where your needs just don’t seem to be met.
I’m trained in most standard therapy approaches and I have extra training in EMDR, Schema Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia. I like to build a picture of why things aren’t working and use my training to offer practical support to help make things better, dealing with any barriers or baggage getting in the way of life.

My journey in psychology has been enriched by working with diverse people facing challenges like anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and complex relationship dynamics.
In our sessions together, it's all about you! I tailor my approach to your unique goals, helping to overcome hurdles while empowering you to recognise and cultivate your innate strengths. I draw from various counselling techniques, often incorporating humour when appropriate, and I firmly believe in the power of self-compassion to support your healing.
