About
Seeing a counsellor is a great way to take care of yourself. You might be struggling with a particular mental health issue, or perhaps you want some support in daily life. Life throws us curveballs all the time - finding new ways to work on it is a focus of my work. No-one thinks twice about a personal trainer to improve our physical fitness. Sometimes we need a mental health coach to help us learn if there is something holding us back from living our best life. If you’re not sure what’s keeping you from making a change, counselling can help you discover the answer.
After a 30-year career in the corporate world, I have taken the skills of working with people and retrained to become a counsellor. I’ve had the experience of juggling a stressful but successful career with parenting and looking after a terminally-ill partner so grief, loss and the carer experience are all integral to who I am.
I am passionate about helping people going through some sort of life transition be it divorce, loss of a loved one, relationship difficulties, retirement or any of the myriad of changes that happen to us throughout our lifetime. Learning to cope with a life change can help you manage your situation and this is where I can help.
