I work with a range of mental health conditions in people 18 years and over. My main interest is working with men to address their mental health and associated difficulties. These difficulties may include anxiety, depression, stress, relationship or parenting struggles. My other area of interest is in treating addictive behaviours around gaming and internet use. Helping people to learn to address their problematic behaviours has become an area that I am passionate about. This has also led to my interest in obsessive compulsive disorders which has some similar challenges for the individual.

I have experience working with a variety of presentations, and has worked with adults and adolescents on issues including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, self-esteem, resilience, assertiveness, coping, sleep issues, drug and alcohol issues, and addictive behaviours. I have had over 20 years’ experience in the helping professions. I have worked as a Youth Worker with disadvantaged young people, a teacher in the community services sector and managing my own practice as a counsellor.
