I draw on a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy ( DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative Therapy, Art and Play Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), depending on what feels most helpful.
No matter your age or where you are in life, there are times when things can feel overwhelming or uncertain. I offer both in-person and online counselling to support you through these challenges. In our sessions, I aim to create a warm, safe, and non-judgmental space where you can speak openly and explore what’s been going on for you at your own pace. Whether you are dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, life transitions, or family challenges, I am here to walk alongside you with care and empathy.

We draw on CBT to shift unhelpful thinking, ACT to build values-based action, DBT to strengthen emotional regulation and coping, and EMDR when trauma is impacting wellbeing.
We use a holistic, person-centred and evidence-based approach, combining specialised psychological interventions to support anxiety, depression, ADHD, Autism, stress, emotional regulation, executive functioning, social challenges and life transitions. Every person is unique, so therapy is tailored to individual needs, strengths and goals, with practical strategies integrated into daily life. Genuine care, neurodiversity-affirming practice and best-practice treatment guide our sessions. Fees are reasonable, and we aim to offer timely appointments when support is most needed.

I am a clinical psychologist who is passionate about helping people understand and manage anxiety and stress in all their forms, including social anxiety, generalised anxiety, panic, and the impacts of chronic stress. My approach is grounded in compassion, and evidence‑based practice. I draw on a range of therapeutic models such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy, ACT, EMDR, schema therapy

I draw on therapies such as dialectical behaviour therapy ( DBT) and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing).
I work with adolescents and adults (ages 13 to 65) who are seeking to better understand themselves. This may include exploring ADHD or autism, or generally wanting support to navigate daily life in a way that feels more sustainable and authentic. Many of the people I work with are looking for clarity, self-understanding, and a space where they feel genuinely heard and accepted.

I use a range of evidence-based interventions, including CBT, ACT, DBT, Solution Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Attachment Theory and Somatics.
It's the start of the year but you're probably exhausted. You've been everyone's rock - the reliable friend, the family peace-keeper & the one who puts others first. But beneath that strength lies overwhelm, feeling invisible and exhaustion. You feel drained from carrying everyone's emotional burdens and find yourself saying "yes" when you desperately want to say "no." You experience anxiety, insomnia or physical symptoms from constantly prioritising others. Whether you're burnt out, questioning your relationship, navigating life transitions, struggling with ADHD overwhelm or just tired, it's time to put you first

Dialectical Behaviour (DBT) Therapists
Who is DBT for?
Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) is designed for people who experience extreme emotional suffering because they lack the skills of emotion regulation and distress tolerance. The basic affliction can underlie a wide range of conditions, from borderline and other personality disorders to PTSD and treatment-resistant anxiety and depression. The therapy is helpful to those whose emotional reactivity is so intense it is disruptive to everyday functioning and leads to frequent crises.

Why do people need DBT?
The ability to regulate emotions is a core psychological skill that enables people to function in life and pay attention to the world outside themselves; it is consistently associated with well-being. DBT is designed to help people learn how to manage and regulate their emotions. Originally developed to treat people with borderline personality disorder whose extreme emotional suffering led to self-harming behaviour and suicide attempts, the therapy is now applied to other conditions involving emotion dysregulation, particularly when other treatments have failed.

What happens in DBT?
Individuals meet weekly with their therapist to discuss their experiences relating to moods, behaviour, and skills. Using checklists they maintain, they review emotional experiences and positive practices they engage in. The diaries help individuals discern what led up to a specific problem encountered, this is followed by discussion of the consequences of their actions. In addition, individuals may meet in class-like small groups to learn skills such as mindfulness, emotion regulation and distress tolerance.

How long does DBT last?
Because it is intended to establish long-lasting behavioural change among those with persistent problems, DBT is designed to last six months to a year. DBT includes both weekly sessions of individual therapy and weekly skills-training sessions conducted in small groups. Studies of DBT have documented improvement within a year of treatment, particularly in controlling self-harmful behaviour; nevertheless, individuals may require therapy for several years.
