I specialiase in sexual assault, pregnancy counselling and reproductive health support, however also work with people across a range of issues. My name is Jaya (She/Her). I am a somatic-oriented, neuroscience-affirming and culturally attuned Melbourne (Narrm) based psychotherapist. I specialise in supporting those with the lived experience of Complex Trauma, Chronic Stress, Social Anxiety and Cultural burnout. I am guided by trauma-informed frameworks and engage with young people (14+) and adults. My therapeutic presence is a sacred offering of care, sensitivity, and connection. My experiential practice intersects and integrates expressive art(s), Psychodrama, somatics and group processes to foster more than linguistic (talk/cognitive) ways of knowing, being and sensing.
