You might seem like you’re doing well from the outside — but inside, you’re stretched thin. You're constantly juggling demands, pushing yourself to meet high expectations, and rarely giving yourself a break. You feel worn out, stuck in your head, or disconnected from the people and things that used to bring joy. You want to feel more present, at ease, and in control — but don’t know how to get there.

My gift and desire to help others use creative expression is what has me leaping out of bed each day. I want to help others use creative expression to explore what's going on for them, helping them delve into their inner worlds. I grew up in an intensely creative and neurodiverse family, highly attuned to the beauty of nature, music, art and words. I've always loved the opportunities these forms of expression provide to express myself, and to feel deeply—beyond words.

If you’re living with complex conditions like POTS, Long COVID, MCAS, EDS, CFS, or Autoimmune disorders, your nervous system is likely in a constant state of high alert. When a body is stuck in a cycle of flares, exhaustion, and medical gaslighting, "just talking about it" often isn't enough. You can’t talk your way out of a physiological nervous system response. My practice is designed for those who have hit a wall with traditional talk therapy and are seeking a body-based, neuroaffirming approach to find stability again.

Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, insightful individuals who are used to holding things together — often for everyone else. Despite this, they feel overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck in patterns that keep repeating. Some are navigating relationship challenges or life transitions, while others are in the perinatal period, adjusting to pregnancy, early parenthood, or fertility difficulties. They’re often seeking a deeper understanding of themselves and a way to feel more grounded, connected, and in control.

I believe that trust is the highest form of human motivation and tricky situations challenge it in ourselves. We can have strengths that are as salient and unique as the barriers we face. My clients can have a good insight into themselves or their situation. They may have qualities that set them up for life or have achievements and yet experience significant setbacks that impact their mental health. I work largely with women navigating their pregnancy, parents with young children (up to 4 yrs), immigrants or people of a multi-racial background navigating change in a personal or professional context.

I follow a holistic approach centred on mind-body awareness to gently release embodied stress and establish emotional balance, particularly during adolescence, for women's issues through different life stages, and other complex physical and psychological transformations, including those related to sexuality and gender affirmation journeys.
Hello, I work with individuals, couples and families who may be dealing with loss, grief, traumatic experiences and difficult life transitions. Many wish to explore the way their identity is shaping their sense of self, with or without ASD, ADHD, AuDHD or other diagnoses, and how this is impacting on their relationships. Others wish to develop communication tools to help feel seen, heard and understood. Together we navigate these challenges in a positive, strengths-based way to safely explore internal conflicts, reframe unhelpful thoughts and tune into deeper insights.

Therapy for women who are carrying too much, eldest daughters, high-functioning women struggling with burnout, and identity healing. I work with women who are often the “strong one” or someone others rely on. Many feel emotionally overwhelmed, burnt out, or disconnected from themselves while still functioning highly in daily life. They may be navigating identity, cultural expectations, or people-pleasing patterns. In our work together, I create a safe, supportive space to explore your experiences, understand your patterns, and help you move toward feeling more grounded, clear, and connected to yourself.

Life can be hard, uncertain and confusing, and yet there is an expectation that we inherently know how to live and relate well. This is a fallacy. The realms of the personal are complex, made even more complex when two or more lives come together in relationship. Guidance, mentorship, support and education are necessary elements to navigating the vicissitudes of life and relationship. I therefore guide my clients (individuals, couples and other relationships) through a unique exploratory process of understanding, discovery and growth.

Are you neurodivergent, or starting to wonder if you might be? Are you lost in a world not made for you and exhausted from masking? Are you in a relationship where you both seem to speak entirely different languages and nobody can figure out why? Sometimes the missing piece isn’t about effort or love, it’s understanding how our brains are wired differently. I specialise in ADHD, Autism, AuDHD, neurodivergent women and couples, via Telehealth across Australia. Whether you’re navigating a late diagnosis, burnout, PMDD, perimenopause or relationship conflict, I offer a warm, real, neuro-affirming space. No jargon, no judgement.

Don't expect to see a change if you don't make one. I enable positive change. My clients may have seen a therapist or coach before, but it didn't change anything for them. They then come to me. They want to make lasting positive change in their lives, but they need somebody to give them structured tools and support them in the growth process. Change can be good, but it is not easy. Typically, my clients come to me feeling that living on auto-pilot or that they have lost touch with who they are at their core. They desire more life satisfaction and are prepared to work for it. They want to thrive not just survive.

Women's Issues Therapists
How do you encourage a woman to go to therapy?
It’s helpful to express concern and love for the person while framing therapy as a tool for improving their life. Offering specific examples of how an individual may be suffering, and what effects it has on them, should be done with compassion and with empathy. It may be useful to devise a game plan—breaking the process down into parts, such as finding a therapist, making appointments, and looking into insurance coverage.

How can women prepare for therapy?
Women can prepare for therapy by being willing to talk about their past experiences and their private thoughts. Before a session, an individual may want to reflect on how they’ve felt since the last session and what’s happened in their lives. Between sessions, it can be useful to write down notes about their reaction to a given event or how they felt at a particular time.

How long does therapy for women’s issues often last?
As with any type of therapy, sessions depend on the individual and the challenges they face. Therapy types like Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), Prolonged exposure therapy (PET), and Eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR) can be brief, most often ranging from between 5 and 20 sessions. In some cases, such as for women with eating disorders, residential treatment may be recommended for an individual who is judged to be at high risk of self-harm. For any therapy, the duration will depend on the progress made and results realised.

How can women overcome stigma around specific challenges in order to seek therapy?
Women dealing with domestic abuse, sexual assault, eating disorders, and any other number of troubles may feel a stigma around seeking help. It’s important to remember that these issues are not uncommon and there is no shame in getting help for them. Therapy is confidential, and women can talk about their experiences without fear of judgment. Seeking therapy can be a courageous and liberating act, and an important step toward healing and recovery.
