Many of the adults I work with have ADHD and feel like they are constantly trying to keep up with life’s demands. Focus can come and go, routines are hard to hold, and energy often runs out before the day is done. ADHD rarely sits on its own. Anxiety, low mood, sleep problems, or chronic health concerns often overlap. My clients want to understand how their mind works, reduce the mental load, and build ways of working with their attention and energy rather than fighting it.

I work with people navigating life transitions, seeking clarity, and wanting to create a life that aligns with their values, goals and sense of direction. This may include career change, relocation, relationship transitions, stepping into new life stages, or periods of uncertainty where you are reconsidering what matters most and what comes next. I support individuals who are seeking a deeper understanding of their experiences, including exploring whether there may be underlying factors contributing to how they think, feel or respond.

Have you carried pain in silence because “people like us” don’t talk about mental health? I work with clients who feel torn between cultures, family expectations, and their own identity. Many navigate trauma, generational conflict, anxiety, depression, or the pressure to be the strong one. They want clarity, emotional relief, and a place where their culture, language, and story are understood. I offer a safe, culturally aware space to explore your experiences, make sense of long-standing patterns, and reconnect with your authentic self.

I’m a Melbourne based experienced psychologist. Many of the people I see are professionals and entrepreneurs constantly making decisions, managing responsibilities, and striving to meet high expectations. On the outside everything appears under control, but inside it can feel overwhelming, exhausting, or lonely. Capable, successful people can feel weighed down by hidden anxiety, stress, perfectionism, or ADHD. We work together to unpack what’s really going on beneath the surface. We explore patterns that keep you stuck whether it’s overthinking, restlessness, or the pressure to achieve and strategies to focus on what matters most.

We have all been in situations that we wish were different. We want someone who listens respectfully, to support and encourage us to get through this situation stronger and to be proud of who we are. It can be reassuring to work with a professional therapist to help clarify our thoughts, who will provide tools to manage concerns and assist in putting a life plan in to action.

One on one, our work in therapy together is practical and evidence-based, drawing on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and the principles of Positive Psychology.
I’m a psychologist who’s long been curious about how people manage life’s challenges, what makes problems feel overwhelming, and what helps people move forward. Throughout my life I have seen the same themes appear such as stress, self-doubt, relationship strain, burnout, and the experience of feeling stuck. If you’re looking for calm, dependable support to better manage life’s demands and reconnect with what matters, I’d be glad to talk about how we might work together. With or without a Mental Health Plan is ok, plus I work with clients under Workcover and other government support programs.

Let’s be honest. Walking into therapy can feel intimidating. The old-school image of psychology is still very “serious face, intimidating suit, big words you didn’t ask for.” That’s not what happens here. I’m a psychologist who genuinely believes therapy shouldn’t feel like you’re being analysed under fluorescent lighting. It should feel collaborative, clear & human. You deserve support that makes sense in real life. No "hacks". My approach is simple. I get to know you properly. We figure out what’s getting in your way. And we build tools that actually work in your day-to-day life. No unnecessary jargon.

My ideal client would be someone experiencing lack of intimacy & frequent conflicts in their relationship. Their presenting issues might involve lack of trust & unhealthy ways of communication. They would need skills & strategies to communicate more effectively & ways to make repairs after conflicts. They would also need tools to rebuild trust and foster intimacy. Another ideal client would be someone who has experienced trauma, childhood or more recent. They might experience anxiety, flashbacks & nightmares. Their goals would be to process the trauma & better manage their distressing thoughts & feelings.

Since starting my career in psychology in 2009, I have enjoyed worked with adults of all ages. Some of the issues that have been brought to therapy include struggles with mood, motivation, trauma (complex or single incident), identity development, family conflict, career/workplace challenges, academic/study problems and more. My clients come from all walks of life: fellow health professionals, students, teachers, stay-at-home moms, career women, new migrants, second generation Australians - all of who are just trying to navigate what mental health means to them and what they want out of life.

Positive Psychology Therapists
How does positive psychology therapy work?
Positive psychology therapy derives from the work of Martin Seligman of the University of Pennsylvania. He and others developed the field of positive psychology building on humanistic theory. Positive psychology therapy is similar to acceptance and commitment therapy, and it essentially quiets emotional distress through positivity, contentment, and well-being. This therapy does not reduce the individual to symptoms and conditions.

When do I know if I need treatment using positive psychology?
If an individual is overwhelmed by emotional distress and general negativity, they may feel trapped. A positive psychology therapist can help them view their emotions and behaviours differently, and approach life with a better understanding of their positive strengths. This therapy can provide an individual with the coping skills needed for a healthier and more constructive life.

What should I expect from positive psychology therapy?
The patient may be asked to explore their signature strengths. The therapist will also ask the individual to talk about their goals, which should be specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and timely. Discussing negative experiences and symptoms is important, but so is the exploration of positive experiences. The objective is to identify and lessen negative thoughts and behaviours and move toward optimal health and productivity. The individual will see life in a more positive and fulfilling way. This therapy is proactive and may use forgiveness, gratitude, hope, and compassion to help reframe negativity.

Is positive psychology effective in therapy?
Positive psychology therapy is evidence-based and effective. One study found that people with eating disorders benefit from this type of intervention. This therapy encourages the person to reframe their distressed thoughts and move into healthier patterns of functioning. This therapy also aims to move an individual toward what works well in their life. Positive psychology therapy can elicit lifelong change, with higher levels of satisfaction, less stress, as well as positive emotional and behavioural habits.
