I love working creatively with people, especially with children. Children are playful and curious, and I love to lean into that during sessions. The main way children learn and encounter the world is through play, which is why a large proportion of my therapy time with children is play-based. Using expressive and play-based therapy with children supports their emotional, social and cognitive development and gives them non-verbal ways of expressing their emotional destress and working through challenges like anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, and unique challenges related to neurodivergence.

My clients are women at all kinds of moments - running on empty after too long holding everything together, stuck in patterns that keep showing up no matter how hard they try to shift them, navigating a life transition that's knocked them sideways, or sitting with a quiet but persistent sense that the life they're living doesn't quite fit anymore.
Some arrive in crisis. Others arrive with no single defining reason, just a readiness to understand themselves more clearly and do something about it. Both are welcome. Both are the right reason to be here.

Some are seeking answers about ADHD or autism, while others are looking for support after a brain injury, to better understand if they are experiencing changes in memory or thinking, or seeking help for managing anxiety, identity, grief, relationships and more alongside living with a different kind of mind.
I work with adolescents and adults across the lifespan and aim to create a respectful, collaborative space where people feel heard and understood. Assessments are carefully tailored to the individual, considering the whole person rather than focusing on a single diagnosis. I also provide cognitive rehabilitation and ongoing psychological support.

Life sometimes leaves you feeling overwhelmed, exhausted and alone. You want to make changes but don't know where to start. You struggle to find joy in activities that once brought you happiness. This is not the life you imagined for yourself and you wonder if these issues stem from your childhood experiences?
You’re not alone. Many people find themselves caught in a cycle where their past impacts their daily lives. Often the roots of these feelings trace back to our childhoods, where patterns and beliefs about ourselves were formed.

Grief Therapists
How long does therapy take for grief?
There is no exact timeline for grief counseling. Some people may start to feel better after just a few sessions, while others may take months or longer to feel relief. Some specific approaches, including some types of CBT, may involve a set number of sessions, or therapy may be open-ended until the patient determines they are ready to wrap up. Just as there is no right or wrong way to grieve, there is no right or wrong way to seek therapy for grief.
When should you seek therapy for grief?
Many people mistakenly believe that their grief needs to be debilitating or all-encompassing to warrant therapy. This is not the case. While people who experience severe, prolonged grief—particularly those who are considering self-harm or engaging in unhealthy substance use—are especially likely to benefit from therapy, so too are people whose grief is less intense but still interfering with well-being or daily functioning. In practice, almost anyone struggling to process a loss could benefit from grief counseling.
Can grief be managed without therapy?
Oftentimes, yes. Grief is a near-universal part of being human, and many find that their grief, while profound, does not stop them from participating in day-to-day life and steadily eases over time without outside help. For others, however, the harsh pain of early grief persists for months or years or leaves them unable to function. This group is especially likely to benefit from seeing a therapist, who can guide them through their grief and help them reconnect with the world.
What happens if grief is left untreated?
Because grief does not in itself necessitate therapy, untreated grief will often resolve on its own. However, for some people—particularly those who would qualify for a diagnosis of prolonged grief disorder—untreated grief can be a source of seemingly endless pain or lead them to withdraw from the world. In such cases, treatment can be indispensable, as it can help an individual adapt to the loss and start living again.
