I offer counselling and therapy for adults navigating significant life transitions in Melbourne and Bayside, including separation, divorce, retirement, career change, grief and loss, anxiety, and periods of uncertainty. These experiences can feel overwhelming, and therapy can provide a steady, supportive space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with what matters most. Together, we can make sense of change, strengthen your inner resources, and build greater clarity, resilience, and confidence as you move forward.

I work with adults and couples on porn and sex addiction, compulsive and pathological lying, infidelity and trust, relationship conflict, anxiety and depression. Many people I see feel caught in a pattern they keep repeating even though they want to stop, and they want to understand why.

I specialise in using EMDR to process trauma. You may feel overwhelmed with negative thoughts, memories and fears about the future. Often no amount of arguing with ourselves seems to help. Maybe you've tried talking therapy before but the underlying problems are still there. Perhaps you're fed up with telling your story again and again. I use EMDR because it isn't talking therapy and doesn't require repeated exposure to traumatic memories, which is often traumatising in itself. I don't need to ask you to go into details of traumatic events.

I am passionate about working with clients who are wanting to find that different path in life. As a family therapist, I have worked with families to focus on parenting, family dynamics, finding different ways or building relationships with each other. I enjoy working with couples who are wanting to explore the potentials of their relationship and to work out where their next steps are. As an ACA Clinical Supervisor, I run individual and group supervision for counsellors - to find a safe space to have a growth mindset to continually learn how to build up their therapeutic skills.

I love working creatively with people, especially with children. Children are playful and curious, and I love to lean into that during sessions. The main way children learn and encounter the world is through play, which is why a large proportion of my therapy time with children is play-based. Using expressive and play-based therapy with children supports their emotional, social and cognitive development and gives them non-verbal ways of expressing their emotional destress and working through challenges like anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, and unique challenges related to neurodivergence.

You've probably gotten very good at holding it together. At being whoever the room needs you to be. At explaining yourself (your culture, your identity, your background) to people who were supposed to help, but left you doing all the work. I understand that. Not just as a psychologist, but as someone who has lived it. I'm a Chinese-Australian clinical registrar psychologist, and I bring lived experience to my work with people navigating intersecting identities and the quiet exhaustion of not quite fitting anywhere.

In our first session, we talk about what’s brought you here — whether it’s the pain of repeated relationship disappointments, uncertainty in a long-term partnership, or feeling weighed down by anxiety, low mood, disordered eating, or emotional distress. You may be navigating life feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or like things should feel better than they do — and you’re looking to change this.
