It’s not always easy to ask for support, especially when you’ve been holding it all together for so long. You might be feeling anxious, exhausted, or emotionally drained. Maybe you’re managing a chronic illness, feeling lost in a big life transition, burnt out from work or study, or questioning who you are and what matters to you now. Even if you're someone who usually copes well, it might feel like things just aren’t working anymore. You might be craving a space that feels calm and affirming, where you can take a breath, feel understood, and begin to figure things out at your own pace, with someone who really gets it.

I work with individuals who may experience depression, anxiety, worry, grief and loss, ADHD, menstrual irregularities, life transitions for example commencing university, relationship changes, or employment changes, stress and trauma.
Greta is a passionate therapist who provides an authentic, honest and trusting space where life's experiences can be shared. We all have the potential to shine and at times our lustre can fade or seem elusive. We may need a friendly face and someone to listen to our story to help understand how we experience and respond to the challenges we may experience at times throughout our life.

I work across a range of areas including Autism, ADHD, learning and emotional challenges, and I tailor therapy to each young person’s strengths, needs, and developmental stage.
I’m an Educational and Developmental Psychologist and the founder of Mindverse Psychology with over a decade of experience supporting individuals across the lifespan. Many of the families I work with come to therapy seeking clarity, connection, and support. You might be a parent trying to better understand your child’s behaviour, or a young person feeling overwhelmed by school, friendships, or emotions that are hard to explain. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, social challenges, or developmental concerns, it’s not always easy to know what’s going on—or how to help. You’re not alone, and reaching out is a powerful first step.

I treat children, adolescents and adults. People come to therapy initially not knowing exactly what’s happening to them or in their relationships, only that something is difficult, painful or a source of conflict . I offer a private space to speak, even when words are hard to find. In my approach I offer a space where you are invited to express yourself freely sometimes about things that are very difficult to put to words.

I'm a psychotherapist based in Melbourne, and I'm also a highly qualified and experienced psychologist, with practice rooms in Hawthorn and Belgrave. People come to sessions with me to talk about what may be troubling them, or about things that are initially very difficult to put into words. These issues may appear as questions about yourself and others, or disorders, something you notice and you don't have a reason, or don't know but nevertheless it is troubling, painful, and upsetting. We can have a conversation and work it out together in the next session.

When should I seek treatment for ADHD?

You should seek treatment for ADHD if you consistently have difficulty with attention, hyperactivity, or impulsivity that interferes with your daily life. Symptoms of ADHD include the inability to sustain attention during tasks, difficulty organizing tasks and activities, being easily distracted, frequent fidgeting or squirming, and talking or interrupting excessively. If these symptoms interfere with your career, academics, or relationships—for example, consistently failing to complete professional projects on time—you should seek an evaluation for ADHD.

How does treatment for ADHD work?

Effective treatment for ADHD often consists of medication, behavioural therapy, and lifestyle changes. Stimulant medications such as Adderall and Ritalin work by altering levels of neurotransmitters in the brain; higher levels of dopamine and norepinephrine are known to improve attention and focus. Therapy works by helping people with ADHD understand the condition, discuss their areas of difficulty, and develop behavioral strategies to manage their symptoms. In some cases, modifying one’s diet and exercise can also help improve symptoms.

How long does treatment for ADHD take?

It’s tough to give an exact time frame because everyone varies. In terms of medications, stimulants begin to work very soon after you take them, generally within the hour. It may take time to identify the right medication and dosage, but the medication itself is fast-acting. In terms of therapy, it takes time to develop skills and put them into practice, but you will likely see improvements within a few weeks or months.
