You might be here because you're looking for relief — from the weight of what happened or went unmet in the past, the pull of old patterns, or a relationship that keeps hitting the same wall. Perhaps you feel at the mercy of your own emotions, exhausted by cycles you can't seem to break, and feeling out of touch with yourself and others. Maybe it's a relentless feeling of perfectionism or of being worn down by hypervigilance and worry about what's going to happen next. I'm Kelly, and I work with individuals and LGBTQIA+ couples navigating relationship challenges, trauma, anxiety, neurodivergence, and many other human experiences.

Sexual or relationship concerns can be difficult to talk about and may negatively impact our emotional well-being and mental health. Often people tell me they have not felt comfortable discussing sexuality with other therapists and seek me out to explore issues of concern without judgement. As an accredited psychosexual therapist and mental health social worker I have worked for nearly 30 years supporting people to improve their sexual and interpersonal relationships, manage depression, anxiety, low self esteem, body image issues, sexual pleasure post trauma, grief, loss, communication difficulties and other concerns.

There Is Nothing Wrong With You <3. We all have certain traits that can either benefit us or hinder us. This all depends on the circumstance and how aware we are of which trait is behind the wheel in any given moment. Your Vigilance keeps you safe, but when it is always taking the driver’s seat your nervous system becomes taxed. Your people pleasing makes you feel valued and it’s good to care about the people around you. However, having clear boundaries makes for more authentic relationships and stops you from burning out. I’m not interested in trying to "fix" you, but I would love to support your path to self-awareness.

I work with adult clients experiencing complex trauma, depression, anxiety, interpersonal difficulties, identity conflicts, grief and loss. I treat people of all genders, but have a special interest in men’s psychological struggles. My clients tend to appreciate that psychological growth involves more than 'strategies', and that self-discovery, self-insight and self-acceptance lie at the heart of each healing journey. They expect to be challenged as well as supported, and to be guided by an experienced, insightful, and compassionate therapist who is able to hold and contain whatever distress they bring.

I work with people who may look like they’re holding it together, but feel anxious, stuck, or overwhelmed underneath. Many are used to pushing through, yet something isn’t working anymore. I meet you where you’re at, seeing symptoms not just as problems to eliminate, but as meaningful signals to something more significant driving us. In a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space, we slow things down and explore what’s beneath the surface. Together, we build insight, emotional steadiness, and a way forward that feels more aligned with who you are.

I support women experiencing the emotional and psychological weight of perimenopause and menopause, providing a space where what you are going through is understood and taken seriously. I draw on EMDR and parts work, as well as other modalities, and use a holistic approach to support women through the complexity of perimenopause and menopause, working with both what is happening in your body and what you are carrying from your history. The direction we take is always decided together.

You might be here because traditional talk therapy or CBT hasn't fully addressed what you're experiencing. The anxiety persists. The tension won't release. Patterns keep repeating despite your best efforts. You grew up walking on eggshells, reading the room, suppressing your needs. Now you experience chronic pain, IBS, or tension doctors can't explain. You feel numb or hypervigilant. Relationships feel insecure or repeat painful patterns. You want to feel safe in your body, stop managing symptoms, and experience genuine change. You need approaches beyond talk therapy—somatic work that addresses trauma stored in your nervous system

I work with couples navigating the complexities of intimate life: conflict, disconnection, communication, trust, and the quieter question of whether a relationship can become what both people need it to be. My approach is warm, attachment-informed, and grounded in slowing down reactive patterns to understand what sits beneath them - the emotional meanings, earlier experiences, and unmet needs that often drive disconnection. I draw on EFT, Gottman, narrative approaches, and psychodynamic principles, tailored to each couple. I work with all relationship stages and warmly welcome LGBTQI+ clients and diverse relationship structures.

I love helping people make sense of their issues and get past them. Psychological science has come a long way and there are excellent strategies for most problems - often all that is needed is a clear grasp of what’s happening, a path forward, and some effort to put in the work.
