I am a Psychodynamic Psychologist, which means that I believe our emotional and psychological wellbeing are shaped by our relationships. Many of the difficulties that people experience with anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, or feeling generally overwhelmed have their roots in early experiences of disconnection, loss and isolation. When these experiences are too painful or remain unresolved, they often continue to affect us long into adulthood.

Many women reach a point where anxiety, stress, responsibilities and life transitions start to feel overwhelming. If you’re looking for a compassionate space to explore your thoughts and emotions, you’re in the right place.
I work with women experiencing anxiety, stress, burnout, relationship challenges and major life transitions. Together we can explore what’s happening beneath the surface and begin to make sense of patterns that may be leaving you feeling overwhelmed or stuck.

I am warm and compassionate and provide a safe space for my clients.
Trauma underpins many of our life stories. I work with trauma using a method called Depth Enquiry. Long held sufferings can be relieved by this gentle and non-invasive process.
I work with many clients, and this form of trauma relief can be used to access a particular traumatic event, as well as trauma which has lasted many years in some cases. You can continue with your own therapist while dealing with unresolved trauma if that would work for you.

Let’s start with this: You are not your ADHD.
You might look like you’re coping — holding down a job, keeping up appearances — but inside, it’s chaotic. The overthinking, the scattered focus, the constant sense that you're behind. Maybe it’s ADHD, anxiety, or just a brain that won’t switch off.
What you want is clarity, calm, and tools that actually help. More than that, you want to feel like yourself again.
I work with people like you to understand your mind, quiet the self-doubt, and build a life that feels manageable and meaningful.

Sleep or Insomnia Therapists
How effective is treatment for insomnia?
The most effective treatments for insomnia are behavioral techniques that reduce anxiety, including anxiety about falling asleep, and allow the body’s natural cycles to be recalibrated. The most common treatment is cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I), which researchers have found to be more useful than medication, with rates of success as high as 80 percent.
Are there specific medications for sleep problems?
There are many medications, both over-the-counter and prescription that treat sleep problems. Supplements such as melatonin are popular and may help, though there is little evidence that it is more effective than a placebo. Prescription medications such as zolpidem are sometimes prescribed.
Are there natural treatments for sleep problems?
There are many natural treatments for everyday sleep problems. Reducing blue-light emitting screens, setting a regular bedtime, regular exercise, reducing caffeine and nicotine consumption, and keeping the bedroom dark and cool at night are all lifestyle changes that can help those who struggle with sleep but may not reach the level of an insomnia diagnosis.
What’s the difference between having trouble falling asleep and insomnia?
Life events, stress, and anxiety can lead to sleepless nights for everyone from time to time. To be diagnosed with insomnia, a patient must experience trouble falling asleep, trouble remaining asleep, waking up too early, or non-restorative sleep at least three nights per week for at least one month. Sleep problems affect one-third to one-half of the population, while chronic insomnia affects about 10 to 15 percent of people.
