I work with kind, intelligent, and reflective individuals who, despite their outward achievements, feel trapped by unhelpful patterns and past experiences. My clients often feel a sense of being lost, broken, or tainted. They may struggle with chronic self-doubt and the belief that they are not worthy of a fulfilling life. They are looking to move from a place of simply surviving to a life of meaning and purpose.

I integrate these approaches with mindfulness practices and somatic techniques to help clients explore their inner world, develop coping strategies, and cultivate greater self-awareness and emotional resilience.
If you're an adolescent or woman feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck in unresolved past experiences, you're not alone. You might be exhausted by the internal chaos, constantly battling big emotions, or struggling to silence that critical inner voice. You want to feel grounded, confident, and free from the pasts' grip. You yearn to understand your emotions better, to stop feeling like 'too much', or 'not enough', and to genuinely feel at peace within yourself, finally embracing all the parts that you, you.

I support couples to have the relationships they desire. The fact is that when your relationship is rubbish, everything feels rubbish. Often in relationships, the same patterns play out again and again, but it can be impossible to see them (let alone change them), when you are living them. My role is to recognise the pattern, understand why it is happening, and how it is impacting your relationship.

I coach self-regulation tools for you to use including Tapping/EFT, breathwork and somatic practices.
My clients often feel held back by intense physical or emotional responses to fear. Many come to me because anxiety or phobias—specifically dental, medical, procedural, or flight phobias—are preventing them from accessing healthcare or living fully. Others are exhausted by insomnia or low self-esteem. If you feel your "fight or flight" response is constantly overreacting, or you are tired of talking about problems without feeling a shift in your body, we are a good fit. I help you move forward by bridging the gap between the mind and the nervous system, replacing avoidance with calm, regulated confidence.

Somatic Therapists
How does somatic therapy work?
Somatic therapy is a form of treatment that focuses on how the body and mind are interconnected. In this approach, physical symptoms are addressed because they may in fact signal emotional distress. Somatic therapists combine mindfulness, talk therapy, breathwork, yoga, dance, and physical manipulations of the body to help patients become more attuned to what their body is telling them.

Is EMDR a somatic therapy?
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a form of somatic therapy, as it incorporates mental and physical principles. EMDR involves remembering a traumatic experience while allowing one’s eyes to track a side-to-side visual stimulus from a therapist. This lateral eye movement is believed to diminish the painful power of the memory so that it can be discussed with a therapist.

Is somatic therapy evidence-based?
Somatic therapy has been researched and studied, and some forms of somatic therapy are found to be effective in treating a wide range of conditions. Because somatic therapy encompasses many techniques, some, such as EMDR and meditation, have been studied more than others.

What is somatic trauma therapy?
Somatic trauma therapy is based on the idea that when people experience trauma, they can become stuck in the “freeze” part of a “fight, flight, or freeze” response. In this state, trauma can manifest itself both mentally and physically—through tension in the muscles, anxiety, and stress. Popular forms of somatic trauma therapy include EMDR, sensorimotor therapy, and somatic experiencing.
