I offer ongoing, weekly therapy for people who are looking for a place to speak about what is really going on in their lives. You may have tried therapy before and found that it helped in some ways, but did not reach something more true about you. You may be looking for a different kind of work, one that allows you to speak freely and to stay with what does not easily resolve.

My approach is relational and evidence-based, I use therapies including EMDR, Schema, DBT, CBT, and psychodynamic work.
People often come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward. Others come to find a safe space for self exploration and growth. Therapy can help to make sense of patterns that no longer serve you, and build strategies aligned with your values. I support individuals from all walks of life who are seeking clarity, emotional support, and meaningful change. I work with adolescents and adults navigating life transitions, grief and loss, trauma, stress and burnout, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and identity shifts.

I believe everyone can benefit from therapy - from seeking support for a life transition; to exploring and healing trauma; to identifying and optimizing your patterns for greater satisfaction in your day to day life and relationships. We all thrive when we are seen and heard for who we truly are, in a non-judgmental and caring setting. I became a therapist because I am genuinely curious and interested in people, getting to know each person's unique experiences, and supporting them to heal and thrive. I strive to create a safe and welcoming space where you can feel comfortable to be yourself; allowing you to explore, grow and heal.

Life can get a bit overwhelming—whether it’s anxiety, addiction, grief, family dramas, parenting stress, or the ups and downs of neurodiversity and big life changes. I offer a down-to-earth, supportive space where you can talk things through at your own pace. Together we’ll look at what’s going on, build resilience, and find practical ways forward that actually work for you. I draw on both my training and my own lived experience, bringing empathy, honesty and the occasional laugh—because sometimes it helps not to take ourselves too seriously.

I work with adults & couples struggling with anxiety, depression, PTSD & complex trauma, relationship difficulties, OCD and other emotional concerns. I approach therapy with a deep curiosity about you - how you see things like noone else. Depending on what brings you to therapy, we may explore how pivotal moments in life have shaped you, your beliefs, and your relationships. And we may also look at practical ways you could bring about the changes you hope for. My aim is to provide a supportive space that helps you understand things more clearly, accept yourself more fully, and feel more capable of meeting life’s challenges.

Psychodynamic Therapists
Is psychodynamic therapy evidence-based?
Studies have found psychodynamic therapy to be effective in treating conditions like social anxiety, eating disorders, chronic pain, some personality disorders, and depression; indeed, some studies have found it to be just as effective as CBT or medication. What’s more, several studies have found that the benefits of psychodynamic therapy tend to endure—even grow—long after treatment has ended.

How long does psychodynamic therapy last?
Unlike CBT and other more structured forms of therapy, psychodynamic therapy tends to be open-ended and may not be limited to a set number of sessions. It is common for clients to be in therapy for a year or longer and to see their therapist one to three times a week, though the exact schedule and timeline may vary depending on a client’s challenges and progress. However, brief psychodynamic therapy is available, which tends to be more goal-oriented and typically unfolds over 16 to 30 sessions.

Does psychodynamic therapy work?
Research finds that psychodynamic therapy can help someone manage or reduce symptoms of diagnosable mental health conditions like depression or anxiety. The modality may also offer a range of benefits that are harder to measure but just as valuable—such as increased self-worth or healthier relationships. While no therapy type will work for everyone, research and anecdotal evidence suggest that psychodynamic therapy can be highly effective.

What are the limitations of psychodynamic therapy?
Some meta-analyses have concluded that there is little evidence to suggest that psychodynamic therapy can effectively treat certain mental health conditions such as PTSD, OCD, or psychosis, though it is sometimes used to do so. More broadly, the open-ended, free-association structure of psychodynamic therapy may be frustrating for clients who prefer a more structured, time-limited, or goal-oriented approach.
