If you're in a relationship that's wearing you down, or you're out of one wondering how you ended up here again, I can help. I work with men, women, and couples who are ready to do things differently. About half my clients come alone, they're tired of repeating the same patterns in how they connect, fight, or shut down. The other half are couples carrying years of conflict, distance, or pain. Affairs, power struggles, mismatched desire - these are hard, but they're not hopeless. I offer a clear, structured approach to help you understand what's really going on and actually create meaningful change.

ADHD Melbourne is a practice dedicated to supporting adults, adolescents, and children navigating ADHD, ASD and related challenges. We understand that ADHD is not simply about attention or organisation, it affects emotions, relationships, work, study, self-esteem, and daily life in deeply personal ways. Our approach is strengths-based, neuroaffirming, and evidence-informed. We recognise that every ADHD brain is different, and there is no one-size-fits-all solution. ADHD Melbourne conducted formal assessment for both ADHD and ASD for ages 6 and above.

You may be feeling overwhelmed, emotionally stuck, or locked in the same painful patterns—whether in your relationships, your sense of self, or your ability to feel safe in the world. Maybe you've tried to push through it, but the anxiety, shame, or emotional exhaustion keeps coming back. You may not have words for what’s wrong, but you know something needs to change. Whether you're navigating the aftermath of trauma, struggling in your relationship, or feeling trapped by intense emotions or inner criticism, therapy can offer a space to breathe, make sense of what’s happening, and begin to heal.

Reconnect with yourself and restore inner steadiness. Create a more balanced way of living—where your energy is steady, your needs matter, and life begins to feel more joyful again. Many women reach a point where the way they’ve been living is no longer sustainable—for their energy, wellbeing, or the life they’re ready to step into. I support women to unwind patterns of overgiving and self-abandonment shaped by trauma, conditioning, or difficult relationships—often leading to burnout. This work builds awareness, self-compassion, and a stronger internal foundation so you can relate to yourself in a way that feels safe and grounded.

I’m a registered psychologist based in Mornington. I work with teens and adults — particularly men — who are dealing with stress, anxiety, anger, emotional shutdown, low mood, or significant life pressure. Many of the people I see have spent years pushing through, supporting others, and holding things together — until that approach stops working. My style is calm, direct, and grounded. I don’t believe people are broken. I believe most people are responding as best they can to pressure, expectations, and experiences they were never taught how to process.

You may be seeking a deeper understanding of what sits beneath the symptoms or struggles you experience. While tension, emotional reactivity, shutdown, or familiar ways of coping may show up on the surface, you sense there are layers underneath—unresolved emotions, inner conflicts, or protective patterns that developed over time. You may want help understanding what you avoid, what feels overwhelming, and why certain patterns keep returning. You’re looking for support, connection, and clarity, with the aim of greater emotional freedom, authenticity, and lasting change.

Narcissistic Personality (NPD) Therapists
What type of therapy is best for narcissistic personality disorder?
Narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) is best treated with talk therapy, which could involve cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, schema therapy, gestalt therapy, or similar approaches. A therapist will help a patient uncover the feelings that may drive their behavior and discover how to engage with themselves and those around them with greater empathy and understanding, fewer demands, and less defensiveness, with the goal of developing a more authentic sense of self that enables healthier relationships.

How do therapists treat NPD?
By developing a strong therapeutic relationship, and continually focusing patients on relationships, community, and connection, a therapist, through talk therapy, may be able to help someone with NPD change. In sessions, a therapist will help an individual achieve relief from their current stressors, including the treatment of co-occurring conditions such as anxiety or depression. A therapist may also help an individual to recognize unhealthy coping mechanisms, learn new ways of interacting with others, and eventually become able to feel and display empathy.

Can a narcissist be cured with therapy?
Therapy can be effective. After a serious setback or great loss, someone with NPD may be forced to recognize that they are not immune to life’s challenges. That can spur feelings of melancholy and depression that lead them to seek professional help. Once an individual decides to seek help, they have already taken a step that the majority of those with NPD never will. Still, people with NPD often quit therapy as they naturally resist feeling vulnerable, being challenged, or admitting to flaws.

How can you get narcissistic personality disorder treatment for someone?
It is notoriously difficult to convince someone with NPD to seek help. With their feelings of superiority, they may be unlikely to recognize or acknowledge that they have a problem, or that their problem is narcissism. Sometimes, they are aware that they are arrogant and that others resent them but they don’t see it as a problem because they are convinced of their superiority. People with NPD have trouble maintaining relationships, but family members and others who do feel close to them, and whose presence they value, may be able to encourage them to seek therapy.
