Brave souls, we live our lives to the best of our abilities; we aim to achieve our dreams with what life has to offer us. However, due to various reasons, and often beyond our control, we might hide from ourselves ... in ourselves, or in other people. Depression, anxiety, personality disorders, dissociative features, psychotic experiences ... We fall, we rise. We laugh, we love, we feel anger and pain. In a conversation with another we could find our way out of this state of being lost in these states. Recovery from trauma perhaps is not about forgetting the past; perhaps it's about expanding your Self, your narrative.
My aim is to understand you in the context of your life. This understanding is at the basis of any interventions I might draw on to support you in this process. I am not a devotee to any particular approach, however I base my work on the Relational Psychodynamic framework. I might reach out to IFS, DBT skills, mindfulness, existential & creative approaches.
It's not easy to begin therapy or to find the right therapist. So, please take it easy on yourself and try working with a few different therapists before making a commitment. If you decide to give us a chance, get in touch, I will be happy to get to know you.

Sfumato Table Play Reading Workshops
Small groups. The process will take 2 hours per week over 10 weeks, however this could vary. Admissions will be based on 1-2 individual sessions to determine if this is an appropriate therapeutic intervention for you at this point in time. An additional consultation with your primary therapist also might be necessary. The aim of the group is wellbeing and expansion. As this is a group activity, full commitment is required.
