I am a child psychotherapist dedicated to supporting children from diverse backgrounds. My practice is deeply focused on relationships and individual differences. This means I meet the child and family where they are at, developmentally, emotionally, and functionally. I respect and follow the child's interests and effectively use the number one tool to support healing - affect. The therapeutic approaches I use to create individualized interventions are underpinned by DIR/Floortime developed by Dr Stanley Greenspan, Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics by Dr Bruce Perry, Attachment Theory, and Polyvagal Theory.
At Child Play Therapy, we provide a safe and supportive environment for children and their families who are experiencing varied developmental, social, emotional and physical difficulties. Our goal is to contribute to the health of our community - working in collaboration with educators, health professionals and varied organizations.
