Choosing the right therapist can be tough. I am triple degree qualified (inc. a research Masters) currently embarking on a PhD. I am a senior clinician & clinical supervisor, with 25 years' plus experience in counselling, psychotherapy & mentaI health. I welcome a range of referrals (including Medicare/GP referred/ADF/Victim's Services). I see clients aged 18 and above. I have extensive experience in managing & treating anxiety and mood disorders, trauma, grief & loss , life adjustments, relational issues & workplace stress. Additionally, I provide coaching to help improve/enhance communication skills (work/career development).
As a qualified therapist, I am committed to working with each client to customise therapy to suit their needs. Therapy needs to be more then 'just talking', and I am committed to ensuring that sessions are moving towards measurable goals. I am privileged to bear witness to some amazing client results and outcomes and my results speak for themselves.
As as clinical social worker, counsellor & therapist, I believe in 'meeting clients where they are at'. Counselling and therapy are complex processes, and many clients have experienced less than desirable therapeutic experiences in past therapy Therapy must always be at the client's pace and tailored to meet individual's needs.
