I work in an intersectional way taking into account identity, mental health and other aspects of an individual. I specialise in working with clients who have had to migrate and leave their country of origin and are having a difficult time navigating life in a foreign country.

The Bodhi Tree Psychology was founded by Melissa Moss. Mel is a registered psychologist (AHPRA), a registered counsellor (ACA) and a certified clinical trauma practitioner in sensorimotor psychotherapy (CCTP-II). Mel uses compassionate inquiry whilst integrating a variety of evidenced-based and trauma informed humanistic, somatic and mindfulness approaches. Estelle is a Psychotherapist with over 20 years experience in varied & dynamic roles, delivering trauma informed psychotherapy/counselling as well as support/supervision & training for staff and orgs. Estelle is a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, working with the body’s intelligence to resolve trauma, shock, chronic stress and mental health concerns. She is a PACFA accredited Clinical Supervisor, holds a Clinical Master’s Degree in Mental Health Sciences, and is trained in EMDR and Flash Technique.

I am a General Psychologist on the Clinical Registrar with degrees in Clinical Psychology and Criminology. I serve as a Single Expert Witness for the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, specializing in family-related disputes, including child abuse, domestic abuse, and family violence assessments. My area of research centered on addressing the needs of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) during their transition from primary to high school. My research also evaluated the effectiveness of mindfulness-based interventions for mental health.

I am a psychologist working at my clinic located in Melbourne, Australia. I also work with clients across Australia via telehealth. I work primarily with trauma, alcohol and other drug use and behavioural addictions. I work with you to shed the layers of your trauma, heal unresolved wounds, and create a life that you don’t need to numb yourself to and escape from. I have a bachelor’s degree in counselling and have carried out (and continue to carry out) further training in trauma. Before moving into private practice, I worked as an Alcohol and Other Drug Clinician within the community sector.
