We all fall on hard times. Darkness and malevolence are part of the human condition, and tragedy often strikes when we least expect it. The counterbalance is a deep human connection – a helping hand or guiding light. The first step to getting that help is often the hardest, and finding the right person is important. That help can be the difference, and it’s the reason why I became a psychologist.
My therapeutic approach draws from existential and psychoanalytic traditions to support meaningful insight and emotional depth. When appropriate, I invite exploration of the existential givens such as death, meaning, freedom and isolation, alongside unconscious dynamics. When working clinically, I draw on CBT, Schema therapy, ACT, and EMDR.
I view therapy as a safe space where we work together towards a shared goal. For some, it may involve education and developing strategies to manage a range of mental health conditions. For others, it may be a space for exploring identity, unearthing truths, or creating new visions.
