Hi, I’m Rebecca (she/her). I’m a queer, disabled, neurodivergent provisional psychologist with a commitment to intersectional and affirming practice. I work primarily with neurodivergent people, disabled/chronically ill people, and LGBTQIA+ people. I understand the intersection between these identities, and aim to create a space where you can bring your whole self to our sessions. I am sex-positive, kink aware, and poly/non-monogamy friendly.

I have lived experience of being neurodivergent (AuDHD) and I am currently exploring my own queer identity. I am passionate about neuro-affirming care and psychoeducation around neurodivergence, and holistic care for youth, women and queer folk living with disability and trauma. I am a mum to one human teen and one elderly Siamese cat. I am an established artist who dabbles in art journaling, mixed media art, photography, dance and movement and more.

Special interests: Anxiety, depression, cultural issues, perinatal, family and parenting. I work with people of all backgrounds and ages.

At ArtFull Therapy we see adults and children at all stages in life. There is a professional focus on those living with additional needs and neurological challenges (incl. ASD; Ageing well; Dementia, Stroke; Carer support). No need to be good at art however, it does require an interest/ commitment to get to know yourself better and to identify thoughts and behaviours not serving you well. Clients are taught to identify those, regulate, communicate, self-observe, adapt, engage, change. This builds confidence and resilience allowing for a translation of this new awareness and learnt skills for better relationships and well-being.

Emma is a Clinical Psychologist with 22 years experience in supporting the mental health of children adolescents and adults. She has a special interest in assessing neurodiversity and in supporting clients to discover and better understand their unique brain styles. Emma is trained in numerous evidence based therapies including CBT, ACT, EMDR, DBT, schema therapy, SFBT and Art & Play therapies. Emma's experience is varied and she provides support in relation to anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, phobia's and burnout related to ADHD and Autistic brain styles.
