Tiffany Brest is a clinical psychologist with experience working with young people and adults with diverse backgrounds and life experiences. Tiffany employs a holistic approach when working with clients, tailoring therapy to the client’s needs, unique personal history, personality and goals for treatment. She draws on the following therapeutic approaches; psychoanalytic psychotherapy, Solution Focused Brief Psychotherapy (SFBP), CBT, and supportive psychotherapy. Tiffany is also trained in the Gottman Method of Couples Therapy (Level 2).
Tiffany’s areas of interest include mood and anxiety disorders, peri- and post-natal mental health, adjustment to life transitions, and relationship issues. She has special interests working with clients adjusting to the challenges of parenthood and working with couples to resolve issues and build fulfilling relationships.
Tiffany has an engaging, authentic and supportive approach to working with clients. She places a strong emphasis on working collaboratively with her clients in a safe, non-judgemental and thoughtful therapeutic space. She believes that therapy allows us to develop psychological resources to find relief from distress, overcome challenges and live meaningfully
